In the sunshine this morning, I caught a brief glimpse of something different at the rear end of one of the largest tadpoles.
With the naked eye and not wearing glasses, it looked liked tiny frogs legs to me. Of course, I hadn’t got the camera with me. I rushed to get it, fixing on the waterproof case. Then I spent 20 minutes looking for that tadpole again. I dunked the camera in several places and captured some blurred or fleeting shots which suggested that quite a few legs are emerging. So I persevered and finally got a five second clip which is absolutely clear evidence. Definitely legs. I’m ridiculously cheerful about it! If you blink you’ll miss it. Concentrate on the top of the screen and you’ll see the tadpole swim to the top.
