I’ve just realised that I intended to upload a video of birds in the birdbath but forgot to do it for some reason. In this Frog Blog I’ve usually focused on the ponds and the wildlife in and around them, but there are several areas in the garden with water ‘features’. The old fire pit in the Yard for example, already here when we moved in, catches rain despite having a lid. And the various buckets and bowls that get left in the yard, some full of muddy pebbles intended eventually for pond decoration.
The bird bath was definitely a planned feature. The trouble is we only get visitors when we’re inside. So here’s a video taken through the window in July this year.
