How to celebrate 100 blog posts? How about a video of a lovely newt in Lily Pond?

I’ve seen at least three newts recently but they usually scurry for cover as soon as I appear or they are lost in the green below. This little one seemed to take its time, slowly pacing and then swimming out of sight.
According to Google’s AI, ‘as carnivorous predators, adult newts hunt tadpoles and spawn in ponds during the breeding season. While they are a natural predator, they rarely consume all tadpoles, often creating a balanced, fluctuating predator-prey relationship’. At the moment, there seem to be hundreds of tadpoles in Lily Pond alone, so hopefully enough to survive.
