I’m finding it a bit hit and miss with the trail camera. Often the action seems to be happening out of view, or the clip is just too short to capture the interesting bit, or there’s nothing, because the action happened so quickly. This morning’s haul is mostly the pigeons again, which I haven’t bothered to upload, and a cat having a drink.
I’d moved the camera yesterday to what I thought might be a good vantage point to capture visitors but set the angle too high to see anything happening on the water, hence the cat is disappearing out of the frame at the bottom. It seems to be drinking though, not eating my tadpoles and froglets, which is good to see.
I was disappointed to see the mistake I’d made with the camera angle until I realised that the error had captured a different visitor. No video (the action happened so briefly) but three stills as evidence.
